Hello, I’m Tates Lisoire.

I set up Tates Virtual Assistance in 2019 to provide support to the creative industries. Quite simply, I love the arts, and I enjoy working with creative people.

My background spans a number of industries, most recently the arts, education and charity. Directly prior to Tates VA, I worked as the Executive Assistant to the Head of a large organisation for six years, where I was also Marketing and Projects Manager. I gained extensive experience in co-ordinating arts projects and events, for which I discovered I had a real affinity. It was this experience, together with my skills and interest in all things arts-related, that led me to where I am today.

I’m extremely organised and take pride in exceptional attention to detail. A self-confessed perfectionist, I commit to producing work of a very high standard. I’m an avid proofreader and have recently completed the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) Introductory Course in Proofreading. I also enjoy writing and creating marketing content.

Building successful relationships with my clients is very important to me; I work collaboratively and with an honest, open approach. I’m a people person who loves networking and I’m always on the lookout for an exciting project to get stuck into. You’ll typically find me at art fairs and gallery events where, besides indulging in art and chatting to lovely people, I’m also eager to find the next talented artist or arts professional who may need my help.
